Side-project of Mark Shelton. Hellwell was initially billed as a joint venture between Shelton and an old associate named Ernie C. Hellwell, credited as the lyricist, bassist and keyboard player. In reality, the project was entirely the creation of Shelton, of whom E.C. Hellwell was merely a heteronym.
