Wetwork

"Wetwork" is a euphemism for murder or assassination. The term comes from the Russian "mokroye delo" (meaning "wet job"), and is popularly attributed to the activities of the KGB - though the term can be traced back to the 19th century, when it implied a robbery in which someone was killed (spilling a victim's blood meant the "job" was a "wet" one, per se).
