Smash the pain Torn apart I'm to suffer From the start Kills me now Fucks me up Stop it all Make it stop All will feel the wrath of this longing death Suffer as I suffer, sacrifice your breath Walk with me in hell, demons are your shadows Pulled my strings puppet master, you will now stand tall Lust to hear your screams, clamber for your blood I know you're here to kill Manifest as cancer, eating the body, devouring the soul, swallowing all Destroying worlds, ruining lives, rotting the mind, slither and crawl You can be beaten, I am more than you, account for my sixth sense, nothing you can do Enduring research, fighting it all, called an act of god, miracle destined to fall I force you to feel the wrath of this crushing death Suffer as I suffered, I'll deprive you of your breath Force you down to hell, I'll be your shadow Pull your strings, puppet master, you will stand now tall This is no act of your God Restore your faith in me This is no act from your lord below Restore your faith in all All will feel the wrath of this longing death Suffer as I suffered, I'll deprive you of your breath Walk with me in hell, demons are your shadows Pulled my strings puppet master, I will now stand tall Now you fear the wrath of this destructive death Laughing as you suffer, you crave some more breath Encase you down in hell, you are your own lonely shadow Now you snapped your strings, you will never stand tall

A relentless plane Of unending solitude Stretching out ahead In every direction Cities once built Fell into ruin A myriad of stone Buried Darkness embraces An oft-mentioned legacy Telling of strife And violent insurrection Spice trade and sand Masquerading indiscretion Desert immortalising Those not strong enough Headed by a house of Noble indecency A plot forged to annihilate Opposition Beneath the wilds Obscured by degradation An ancient empire Long forgotten Not seen by man For countless generations The once great halls Since abandoned This forsaken kingdom Once a bastion of Civilisation Progress and knowledge Now just a shadow Engulfed by time And swallowed by Dunes eternal Ancient remnants of this Once thriving dominion Sprawl for miles beneath These god-forsaken sands Legends are shared By scholars and thieves Buried in sand Lost to time A vast atrium Replete with literature Aeons of research Disregarded This once thriving Athenaeum A home of erudition Over epochs neglected Domicile of arcane secrets And caliginous liturgy That should not be known Nor spoken by man

The growing dark brings - nought but torment Drawn back the veil reveals the ever-present vigil From in the black vault - it stares intently A message conveyed - bleak The contents of which unknown Forlorn and surely strange Yet a message to convey there is Slow and resentfully Ichor embracing Alien visions Yet somehow aware Drawn into obscure dreams Another plane Foreign but still Familiar Centred on a plateau betwixt dueling peaks A marble colossus slumbers always Spectral, I observed The vision surpass dream Once a shade, corporeal What was ghostlike; made real These unseen beings Speak a foreign tongue A language not yet heard But one I understood The speakers all foretell The march of hellish fiends Atop a tower I give watch Where sleep dares crawl once more Marble - Now replaced with mire Plateau - Replaced with swamp Dream - Leaves me in this place Lost - Here without a way To - Return from this dream To - escape the encroaching dark To - Reclaim my marble home To - Awaken

Bound and held aloft Ropes tied by Bedouin hands Borne swiftly ‘fore Stowed upon seas of golden sands Dragged atop citrine waves Hands bound - eyes unseeing Cords lashed around my chest Lowered slowly into unforgiving darkness Endlessly I descend Further into the rough-hewn nether earth Miles pass yet no respite The narrow passage shredding the skin Consciousness slips beyond me Drifting between the real and the dream This eldritch flight through Stygian space Comes to an end Journey ended - I awake in darkness Tether laying slack behind me Greeted by the bowels Of some forsaken temple Labyrinthine wandering Horrors awakened yet not perceived Guided by the scent of fetid air My eyes not betraying the darkness Lead by this detestable vapor My embrace of a malign unknown From beyond the unscalable pillars Ceremonial chorus entices me on The sound and smell coalesce Intrigue guiding my steps Faintly another sound rising in volume Thousands marching in dismal unison A procession of unnameable entities Light from their torches, illuminating As the horrors progress toward me I enshroud myself in the shadow I fear Lost once again in the darkness Is this to be my fate?

We will awaken an unrepentant force The seven gods of chaos Our enemies will be destroyed and All impurities erased Expanding into the unknown, a dark cloud of unrivalled magnitude Marred by uncountable souls, breathing a light into blackness Alone in this realm with a blade-crossed meridian Nothing but pinpricks on a map, no longer home Of a vaporous trail, ersatz words put fore’ Promises of riches, gold and else-unknown Leading down a path - more obscure with every turn The voyage unseen by those who spoke of it Endless abyss Engulfing even light Claustrophobic black Void that swallows all Light reflected rapid From upon metallic boughs Shaped being more than void-waste Design is clearly known Inscriptions scale it’s surface Incisions the likes unborn Of this mind’s indulgent elegance Remote and abeyant Tendrils lay dormant Inside their cosmic tomb These empty halls once teeming Sent adrift in slumber Acquiescence installed burning aeons before The God-Priest slept, dethroned and enraged The Opener of The Way, Daemon Sultan The Great Dreamer’s sunken city torn asunder The alignment of the stars, signalling awakening Celestial grace shines upon the Stone of Dreaming Tremors are felt as the shackles of slumber fade All shall tremble ‘fore the might of the gods! Inhale The stench of release Embrace Torment Eternal Immutable Agony Paling Humbled The vastness Overwhelming Potent Eruption Containment Breached Cognizance restored The being aware of my presence The cataclysmic sepulcher - rended asunder Hulking remnants screeching into the abyss A schism torn by this fragmented astral grave Leaves me adrift amongst the waves of the void This ungodly embrace Rending mind from flesh Distorting corporeality Dissolving sanity His tomb - my own As my consciousness Is torn from my anima Severed from my esse I welcome the caress Of this mighty demiurge Who hast given me sight To show me verity So I may denounce Mortal falsehoods The illusions of man And loosen the shackles of transience

Destroy, raze, erase, eradicate The lion’s head falls The great house of the bull cast down Onward - a march of unwriting and dismay A decaying congregation - a putrescent-Mass relapsing In their wake remaining - the shadows of an age negated Only fragments for time to reclaim The thirteenth tower crumbles The necropolis defiled Great sentinels, guardians of the gate of the wind - blind A schism tore the halls of the citadel The heart of the First Kingdom - ruptured Bands of the hollow-way - displaced Onward - a march of unwriting and dismay A decaying congregation - a putrescent-mass relapsing In their wake remaining - the shadows of an age negated Only fragments for time to reclaim These disciples progress forward Consuming all that defies them Sickness and heresy must be Purged for our great salvation Bringers of the end times Unwavering in their faith Reclaimers of the lost and astray Guardians of divinity Defilers of the unworthy Redeemers of our sins and impurities These disciples progress forward Consuming all that defies them Sickness and heresy must be Purged for our great salvation

Seeing no inscriptions This eternal city bore Not the fruit of civilisation Not seen by eyes but mine Deep within the dunes This atrocity laid to rot Unwholesome antiquity deliberately lost The unvocal place dripping In the ghastly stillness of unending sleep Swallowed by the sand That is not dead which can eternal lie And with strange aeons even death may die Shunned so this city should be Hours of waiting for the coming sunrise Daring not to tread forth in the mirk As Memnon hailed the mighty disk I steeled myself to venture forth In and out of shapeless housing Mine vision drawn to a would-be temple Wading further into shapeless darkness My flame - my only eyes Light cast on still-red stones Swallowed by the sand That is not dead which can eternal lie And with strange aeons even death may die Shunned so this city should be Shifting through Construct's darkness Guided by My fear Flames lick the walls around me Horror becomes tangible Rushing wind felt from behind Draws me down down inside Endlessly descending Times seemed to all but stop Suddenly my feet hit earth In a long dark chamber Displayed on the walls were The scales of long-lost man Diminutive in stature With shrapnel fangs Wicked claws The face invoked a hideous reality History lost, sealed away, forgotten Hundreds of these deceased demons Encased by stone and lost in sand Their strange reptilian features Lit by an unknown light As I examined through the glass The glimmering scales ignite Their ungodly tendrils now twitching My sanity depletes Being pulled toward the phosphor I am eternal as I lie
