One Minute Closer To...

The Doomsday
04:01
|
|||
What you gonna say, what you gonna do
When the nukes are flying all over you
Two superpowers, two civilizations
Fighting for resources and domination
We need something to unite us as mankind
Something to fear
One minute
Closer to the doomsday
What shall we do?
No man
Can stop this doomsday
We need a god
You can moralize, critizice the plan
But now it’s done, and working just as it should
It’s up to you, if you choose the truth
Or look at things in ways that comfort you
We all know, this peace was built on a big lie,
we've got no choice
One minute
Closer to the doomsday
What shall we do?
No man
Can stop this doomsday
We need a god
Humans always feared their gods
That’s how I knew my plan would work
Now the Cold War’s in the books
And we live in liberty
Just one minute closer
The end was coming for mankind
So thank me once, then thank me again
I did what none of you would have ever dared
Nuclear war is no longer looming
Our cost is more in line with what we can bear
It’s not terror, when you're saving all these lives
It’s sacrifice
One minute
Closer to the doomsday
What could we do?
No man
Could stop this doomsday
We need a god

Where Is The Joke
03:34
|
|||
I’ve been there since the first time
The curtains were withdrawn
These prostitutes are not resolute
Nor the movements that they’ve spawned
The streets were always dirty
And I’m not Mr. Clean
The thing about morality
Is that it’s mostly marketing
We ain’t gonna cure cancer
With a box of Tylenol
Why search if there’s no answer?
Why be alive at all?
Where is the joke?
Where’s the fuckin’ joke?
Can’t understand, this merry man
Or the monster he'll invoke
I'm sayin' where is the joke?
Where’s the fuckin’ joke?
I don’t give a damn about any man
But we've lost all our control
Don’t care if things are working
I’m not here to make things right
I’m here for the attention
To kick some asshole if I might
I’ve seen war, hell, brutality,
I’ve been a source of amorality
While we kill each other I laugh alone
Embrace this farce - of a life we’ve known
Even I have limits
Like genocidal beast folklore
How could you conceive this…
To evade nuclear war?
So tell me Where is the joke?
Where’s the fuckin’ joke?
Can’t understand, this merry man
Or the monster he'll invoke
I said where is the joke?
Where’s the fuckin’ joke?
I don’t give a damn about any man
But we've lost all our control
Time and again walking through such mayhem
The chaos makes me feel at home
I knew my role, who to fight, when to laugh,
But now I don't know who I am, where's the joke?
Where is the joke?
Where’s the fuckin’ joke?
Can’t understand, this merry man
Or the monster he'll invoke
Just tell me where is the joke?
Where’s the fuckin’ joke?
Don’t give a damn about any man
But we've lost all our control

Spectre Of Love
05:22
|
|||
October 85’
First time tears on Mars, I’ve made you cry
Blame me, it’s my fault. I saw the trouble come, but I couldn’t make it right
Smashed all together upside down, messed up an obfuscated sight
No longer part, of this world, I’m peril, love as though I might
I'm sick
And I'm tired
So isolated from human life
My last connection was just a ghost
It was a spectre of love
Now I am frozen, I’m alone
All that's happening is all that’s gone
What was a minimum glimpse of hope
Became a spectre of love
Your mind perceives only what it seems that you’re feeling for a while
But I can see what I’ve seen and I see what I’m seeing all the time
Cosmic level no one cares when humans kill themselves
Won’t intercede, won’t get trapped up, in their tangled lives
The most intelligent man, in all this land, to me is a termite
Look up at empty Mars, you’ll see its rocks and dust are fine
I’ve seen dust give birth to stars
Human life or death overshadowed by far
In all this infinite space and time
To lose a life on earth isn't much of a crime
I'm sick and I'm tired
So isolated from human life
My last connection was just a ghost
It was a spectre of love
Now I’m frozen, I’m alone
All that's happening is all that’s gone
What was a minimum glimpse of hope
Became a spectre of love

Uncompromised
03:30
|
|||
I am the last one, of all my kind
I believe in olde worlde ways
Justice, order, and punishment
But the world is drifting away
Dirty is OK with me
With blood on my hands if it’s got to be
The sinless won’t suffer again
Due to my doubt or to my restraint
I don’t give a damn if you compromise
If you call me fanatic or mad man
I know what's right and I’ll stand for it
I’m wearing this mask cause you’re too weak for it
People make the world this way
So depraved that it burns
I decided to do my share
Persecuted at every turn
I won’t be eluding my task
You may all have, but I’m still in the fight
That was what set me apart
I stepped into the shadows, without regret
I don’t give a damn if you compromise
If you call me fanatic or madman
Justice sometimes has an ugly face
I’m wearing this mask cause you’re too weak for it
And still Armageddon will not be enough
Or all of these doctors who mess up my mind
I'll still never change won't be swindled or swayed
I'll never abandon my will or my ways
I don’t give a damn if you compromise
If you call me fanatic or madman
Justice sometimes has an ugly face
I still wear this mask
While you run, you disgrace
I don’t give a damn if you compromise
If you call me fanatic or madman
I know what's right and I’ll stand for it
I’m wearing this mask cause you’re too weak for it

Betrayal In Cold Blood
04:28
|
|||
I sometimes miss my job, desolation seldom leaves me alone at all
Inevitable end, it sprawls
I never thought I’d have such friends, these personalities like theirs
Psychopaths, invisible wrath
Hindsight makes everything bright
Eternal sunshine during the night
But we had to be fast, in light of this task
Yet decisions conclude with this blight
We just killed him
It was betrayal in cold blood
We just killed him
Perhaps the end just ain’t enough
We just killed him
It was betrayal in cold blood
We just killed him
Never knew it’d be this tough
Not murdered by my hand,
but neither saved by my resolve, my guy
Neverending ally
Brought to his end to halt this strife, but can it be said he paid a price?
Maybe just in my head
We can say he was totally mad just to justify our acts outright
But we knew it was wrong, and we knew all along
It was cowardly, mean, and obscene
We just killed him
It was betrayal in cold blood
We just killed him
Perhaps the end just ain’t enough
We just killed him
It was betrayal in cold blood
We just killed him
Never knew it’d be this tough
Over time, we were asked outright, if our work was justified
But they all went along, they all sang our song
It was easier than aparteid
We just killed him
It was betrayal in cold blood
We just killed him
Perhaps the end just ain’t enough
We just killed him
It was betrayal in cold blood
We just killed him
Never knew it’d be this tough

Fear The Hood
04:20
|
|||
You don’t know what it’s like, to live in hiding all the time
Not that I ain’t proud, of what I do, or who I am
If this town ever saw the skin behind my mask
They would come for me with their robes and all their torches
If I want justice, it won’t be by the badge
I tried to trust the law, but the game's rigged from the start
Fear the hood
This rope slow adjusting 'round your neck
Fear the hood
Once a victim, now the executioner
This system‘s been setup for all the masters and for slaves
A problem don't mean much, for the one's stuck inside your cage
They might say you inspired them and they want you on their team
But what they really mean is that you got to do just as they please
I am convinced, I’m all alone here in this fight
I'm out here hunting lowly klansmen every single night
Fear the hood
This rope slowly fitting 'round your neck
Fear the hood
Once a victim, now the executioner
Fear the hood
Gone too far now you wish you could go back
Fear the hood
Perfect ending for a megalomaniac
Tell me how it feels, when you’re trying, your own medicine
Mesmerized and helpless, hanging yourself in this tree
Fear the hood
This rope slow adjusting to your neck
Fear the hood
Once a victim, now the executioner
Fear the hood
This rope slow adjusting to your neck
Fear the hood
Once a victim, now the executioner

Living In Oz
03:47
|
|||
Ever since I was a kid
I remember having dreams of grandeur
I was gonna be someone, I knew what I want
Everybody played second best
And I held you back just like all the rest
I think I got what I want
Everybody's got to fight their demons
And you know I had to fight mine, too
It took a lot out of me, it took a lot out of you
To be living in Oz, living in Oz
Sometimes the dream can wake you
Living in Oz, living in Oz
Sometimes the dream can shock you, too
All the money that I spend on you
Doesn't mean a thing if the love's not true
Baby please, I'll get what you want
Can't you tell me you and me ain't lost
I know what I did, I know what it cost
Now I'm yours and I've got what you want
All the fightin' will have been for nothin'
If at the end I can't have you
I'll throw it all away if that's what you want me to do
Living in Oz, living in Oz
Sometimes the dream can wake you
Living in Oz, living in Oz
Sometimes the dream can shake you, too
Funny how desire can burn you up inside
And make you commit emotional suicide
Everybody's got the desire to leave their mark
Some just do it over a trail of broken hearts
And all the people that protect and serve
would disappear if the well dried up
I'm thirsty for affection
Let me drink from your loving cup
Living in Oz, living in Oz
Sometimes the dream can shock you
Living in Oz, living in Oz
Sometimes the dream can rock you
Living in Oz, living in Oz
Sometimes the dream can shake you
Living in Oz, living in Oz
Sometimes the dream can wake you, too

More than year since we last felt the heat
The sweat, the passion, and all of the screams
Though it’s gone, you know that it isn’t lost
Out of my head, out of focus it seems
I bounce off these walls all alone in daydreams
what I would give, if I could just be back home
Give me shred or give me death!
I need that electrical power in my veins again
Got to discharge it right now, or I’ll overload
I need you to give me shred, or give me death!
Submission, omission, but now our decision
An impassioned plea, no need for contrition
Now you know, you need to be your own boss
Sit tight, hang in, you’ll be fine if you wait
But my head's on fire, and I can't see straight
I think you know, we do this now or it's gone
Give me shred or give me death!
I need that electrical power in my veins again
Got to discharge it right now, or I’ll overload
I need you to give me shred, or give me death!
