- THE SLEEPING SHAMAN, Lee Beamish
"Now hopefully this won’t take away from the experience, as I absolutely loved Stare At Nothing, and without spoiling the experience too much, the best I can say is go and invest some time into it as it’s a superb album by a band who obviously are masters at what they do. One to watch for sure."

- METAL SKUNK, Lorenzo Centini

- CLEAN AND SOBER STONER, Scott Spiers
"Years from now, this will be considered the “Classic Lineup.” Every beat, note, and breath on this album is carefully, even lovingly crafted. And it’s so damn HEAVY."

METALITALIA.COM, Giovanni Mascherpa

- MUSIPEDIA OF METAL, Rich Piva
"This is the definition of epic occult doom that has next level musicianship and a voice that will literally do what the band’s name is in the best possible way. Will be up there for the doom album of the year for sure."

"I have heard a lot of doom albums this year already, but I think this new record by Haunted is the frontrunner. Highly recommended."

- THE RAZOR'S EDGE, Matthew Williams
"With the silky, spooky and in parts mesmerising vocals of Cristina Chimirri combining with the sinister, haunting melodies that reek of evil from the guitar of Kim Crowley, Haunted are going to take the world by storm with this new album, which is as sinuous as a snake and as solvent as acid. It’s dripping from start to finish in songs that are evocative, sinful and thought provoking."

- THE OBELISK, JJ Koczan
Haunted commit themselves to the craft of identity through their material, and the effort pays off in a more individualized sound within the sphere of modern cult doom. While resonating a lost kind of despondency, they nonetheless come across as wholly engaged in what they’re doing. It feels daring to suggest, but they might even be enjoying themselves? Too far? Okay, fair enough.
In all seriousness, that a passion for the dark arts is so prevalent throughout the atmosphere of Stare at Nothing isn’t really anything new for Haunted or the corners of microgenre in which they lurk, but throughout these songs, they communicate malaise without giving up the immersive tonality that’s been on their side all along, despite the lineup changes.

- DOOMED & STONED, Billy Goate
“Dank, surly low-end from bassist Frank Tudisco and bluesy doom riffage from guitarist Kim Crowley join thundering drums from Luca Strano, that seems to conjure the ebb and flow of the sea. This contrasts powerfully with Cristina Chimirri’s sublime vocals on the new spin, which is a monument to the exquisite emotional expressiveness and statuesque might of doom metal.”
