V_Shaft An extremely poetic release, with a truly magical atmosphere. L'alba di Morrigan's blend of post-rock is really something you don't hear every day. The release if unfortunately brickwalled production-wise, though it's not that noticeable because the song arrangements are rather clean.

L'ALBA DI MORRIGAN is a new reality on the italian Post Rock and Alternative Metal scene.
The band follows the great tradition of bands like A Perfect Circle, Katatonia, Anathema, Isis offering with their debut album "The Essence Remains" a wide range of emotions in some moments more refined and psichedelic, in others very aggressive. The great impact and evocative vocals, the dreaming progressive tones of the rhythmic session and the gracefull and powerfull at the same time sound of the guitars lines are the main elements of their wonderful artsitic expression.
Featuring on "The Essence Remains" Frank Default (Katatonia and Bloodbath) as well as Helder Pedro for the art work (God Is An Astronaut, Callisto, and Jacob).
