Into the Deep

Blazing pyre
Molten ire
Oceans melting away
From deep beneath
All light is gone
The Mosasaur has risen
The fiery rain of toxic fumes and ash is falling
The gate has opened and the demon has awoken
I call for the dead and growl in pain.
Devouring my soul
A song of death, I hear
My time has come to seek
The remains of the ancient fire
Song of madness - My strength is full again
Storm of darkness - aeons of twisted dreams
Most disastrous - such is my thirst for blood
Hear the thunder roar
So finally I see the stars
And what they sing beyond the heavens
Far away, Atlantia
Hidden, scorched, the frozen humming of the Song of Life is calling
Now, my army of dead creatures, I disturb your rest for you to heed my call and march upon the shark-kin. Nothing will stop me now!
But at the other side of the Iron Trench
The walls are reinforced by the garrison
As the Shark-kin know the Mosasaur has come back
Unbound from his molten prison, he’s coming for Queen Eternia
And to take dominion over the oceans
But she’s wise, and has set in motion her plan to stop impending doom.
She sends her daughter to the moon in a quest to retrieve an ancient artifact that will help them seal the Mosasaur back in the very core of the earth.
Blazing pyre - Go now and find the sword
Molten ire - ride with the wind of yore
Oceans melt in my wake
Go now or never
And so it begins
The fiery race to the moon of Mare
The Mosasaur marches upon the walls of Atlantia
The ground quakes and shakes
For the Song of Death is howling strong

March of Darkness

Hold your fear!
Oh sea so clear!
Grant us the power to defend our home!
We stall this mage
Lest she returns with the mighty Coral Sword
Until then, we fight!
The dead arrive
Cower, oh sun!
For tonignt the darkness feasts
Upon the weak and the free
O Gloria maritima
Forever in our hearts
The light of day will shine
And the very last drop of blood will fall
Blessing this ground for our freedom-longing dream
Don’t falter now
We shall find ourselves
In the dawn of hell
Not tonight!
I come to feast on your souls
To the very last one of you
Til I find that dreaded, roiling whale!
And take my final piece
As the walls begin to fall
The dead are crawling everywhere
It’s not enough, defenders dwindling
Come forth my men! The sun is yet to rise!
But all the effort was in vain!
The moon now laughs at the sharks
For all but one have died
The mighty captain Hammerhead
Now storms out the wall and retreats to warn Eternia
Where is she? My song? My wrath!
As the Mosasaur devours the life out of Eternia, she whispers the Song to captain Hammerhead and with her last spell, sends him to her daughter in the fiery moon of Mare.
In an act of dispair, the Mosasaur howls in rage and sets everything ablaze
Find that freak!
Bring me my prophecy!
And kill everyone in your path!
Now all hope resides on the Whale
Who seeks her sword and protects the Song of Life
Thus begins the quest for the Frozen Core
Far away on the molten moon of Mare

So cold, is this the temple of Oceanis?
This ancient landscape holds the scroll of the gods
And tells the tale of the brave
Who fought the Mosasaur
Two thousand years ago
When the light kept dark at bay
Sealed in the core of Earth
Could the prophecy be true? Am I to bring balance to this world?
Light of all my forebears! I call upon your wisdom
Aid me!
What is that glow at the distance? Could it really be?
I have found the core, but not the sword
O lux Oceanis!
Hammerhead! Have you been sent with tidings?
I’m afraid the Mosasaur has broken our lines
But the queen has murmured the song!
As the Whale hears these news
She sings in tears
And the heavens above strike a light directly into the frozen core
Revealing the Coral Sword
I feel the power growing ever so strong, but I’m missing something, what could it be?
The Whale swiftly grasps the sword and immediately undergoes a transformation that, despite the darkness of night, radiates immense power and lights the moonless sky
As captain Hammerhead witnesses the glory of the prophecy of life
He prepares their ship to go back to Earth and finally meet the monstrous fiend in epic battle.
Behold, my liege, the line of the Coral Gods now shines as bright as ten million suns!
Gloria in Oceanis!
What’s this? Darkness no more?
Ash and dust! Tremble in fear!
Has the Whale found the song of life?
How kind of her to find the core and bring it upon my presence
Now I shall rule this world!
But it grows so bright, what could this mean?
I can barely see the sky!
I feel its sting!
The Whale, imbued with the power of the sword
Flies straight to the battlefield
The heavens cry and the angels descend
As she finally sings her song
And from the brightest star!
The light clashes with the dark at last
The Mosasaur now cowers before the might of the daughter of the deep
The final battle shall commence
As doom becomes destiny!
