Angus were a heavy metal band founded in 1983 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. They disbanded in 1988 after drummer William Lawson departed due to personal differences with the management of Megaton Records.

In 1999, Angus became active again for a short period of time, and then again in 2011, after which they permanently disbanded in March 2013.
