In late 1975 Iron Maiden's lineup consisted of bassist Steve Harris, guitarists Dave Sullivan and Terry Rance, drummer Ron "Rebel" Matthews, and vocalist Paul Mario Day. Day, who the rest of the band felt lacked stage presence, was soon replaced by Dennis Wilcock.
