Founded in 2016, KRUSNIX was formed by two childhood friends, Afiq and Amirul, after bonding over an interest in thrash metal. Caine joined shortly after the band was formed.
Not withstanding a few lineup changes, Syazwan (Assault/Coventide) joined the band on bass/backing vocals in October 2016.
