During a concert in Guatemala on April 5th, 2013, Nova Epica was to play as a support band for Vision Divine, however the concert had to be cancelled because two fans, apparently drunk, got in a fight with the security staff, resulting in the fans shooting at them and a stray bullet hitting Cristian Arévalo.
