Initially named Metropolis, but, due to legal problems, they had to change it to Polimetro. They recorded their debut in 2001, and split up shortly before its release. Brothers Carlos and Patricio Esquivel founded Mythology. The latter split in 2007 and, in 2009, Polimetro re-reformed.
