Akróasis (stylized "Akrøasis" in the cover) is the fourth album by German technical death metal band Obscura. It was released on February 5, 2016 through Relapse Records. A music video was released for the album's title track on November 19, 2015. A second music video for the song "Ten Sepiroth" was released through VEVO, MTV & VH-1 on June 20, 2016.
It is the band's first album to feature bassist Linus Klausenitzer and drummer Sebastian Lanser, and the only with guitarist Tom Geldschläger who was fired from the band before recording was completed. //inet

Obscura is a German technical death metal band from Landshut, Germany. The band became prominent when members of Necrophagist and Pestilence joined Steffen Kummerer to release the critically acclaimed second full-length album, Cosmogenesis. To date the band have released four full-length albums, with their latest being Akróasis, released in 2016. Obscura are known for playing technically and compositionally complex music, with several band members having studied music theory.

October Tide is a death/doom metal side project that was created in 1995 by Katatonia vocalist Jonas Renkse and then-Katatonia guitarist Fred Norrman.more

В 1991 году в Нью-Йорке на свет появилась дэт-метал-группа под названием Internal Bleeding. Одним из основателей данного коллектива является гитарист Chris Pervelis, который и собрал первый состав. Зимой этого же года из местного университета одним из участников группы было украдено 300 пустых кассет, на которые группа записала свой первый релиз - "The One Dollar Demo".
Спустя некоторое время после записи группа начинает выступать на местных концертах, попутно распространяя свое демо. А зимой 1992 года записывается теперь уже ставшее классикой группы демо "Invocation of Evil". Демо издавалось лейблом Wild Rags Records и разошлось тиражом в 5000 копий. Дав несколько концертов, Internal Bleeding приступают к записи еще одного демо.
Творение под названием "Perpetual Degradation" вышло в начале 1994 года все на том же Wild Rags Records. После этого группа отправляется в небольшой тур, вместе с этим распространяя свои демки. Чуть позже их замечает один организатор концертов и приглашает команду выступить на фестивале Milwaukee Metalfest. После этого концерта на парней выходит звукозаписывающий лейбл Pavement Music, с которым они заключают контракт на запись альбома.
Дебютник вышел в 1995 году под названием "Voracious Contempt", после чего группа едет в мировое турне, играя на одной сцене с такими гигантами, как Immolation и Six Feet Under. Прекратив активно выступать только в 1997 году, Internal Bleeding начинают писать новый альбом. Скопировано с Dark-World.ru. Новое творение вышло в этом же году под названием "The Extinction of Benevolence". После этого у издающего лейбла Pavement Music начинаются финансовые проблемы, а сама группа не отправляется в еще один тур по миру, а играет только на местных площадках. В 1998 году парни начинают писать новый материал. К 1999 году у Pavement Music все налаживается, и они издают очередной полноформатник под названием "Driven to Conquer". Продюсером этого опуса выступил некий Brian Griffin. Но в 2000 году группа решает разойтись со своим лейблом и заключает контракт с другим, Olympic Recordings.
В 2001 году последовала компиляция "Alien Breed", в которую вошли ранние демо. После этого из группы уходит основатель Chris Pervelis, а оставшиеся музыканты выпускают полноформатник под названием "Onward to Mecca" и демку "Pure American Fury". Далее последовало два небольших тура, после чего из-за накопившихся разногласий группа распадается. По прошествии шести лет Chris решает возродить Internal Bleeding. На роль ударника вернулся Bill Tolley, а гитаристом стал Brian Hobbie. Также были взяты басист Jason Liff, ранее не участвовавший в деятельности группы, и вокалист Keith DeVito.
