Dimmu Borgir — норвежская группа, играющая в жанре симфонический блэк-метал, образованная в 1993 году. Одна из немногих блэк-металических групп, достигших серьёзного коммерческого успеха и популярности за пределами поклонников собственно блэк-метала (см. также Satyricon). Название группы происходит от исл. dimmuborgir, что переводится как «тёмная крепость». Это название достопримечательности в Исландии — лавового образования, которое, по легенде, является вратами в подземный мир. Кроме того, в 3-й книге трилогии Дж. Р. Р. Dimmu Borgir is a Norwegian symphonic black metal band from Oslo, Norway, formed in 1993. The name is derived from Dimmuborgir, a volcanic formation in Iceland, the name of which means "dark cities" or "dark castles/fortresses" in Icelandic, Faroese and Old Norse. The band has been through numerous lineup changes over the years; guitarist Silenoz and vocalist Shagrath are the only original members who still remain with guitarist Galder being a longstanding member. more _________________

"Perfect Strangers", новая песня группы DIMMU BORGIR, доступна для прослушивания ниже. Этот трек взят из сборника кавер-версий "Inspiratio Profanus", выход которого запланирован на восьмое декабря на Nuclear Blast Records.
