Narnia была создана в 1996 году Кристианом Лильегреном (швед. Christian Liljegren) и Карлом Юханом Гриммарком (швед. Carl Johan Grimmark). До создания группы оба участника играли в Modest Attraction. Для записи дебютного диска к дуэту присоединились Якоб Перссон, клавишник Мартин Классон и ударник Андреас Юханссон. C 2010 по 2014 год группа была в самороспуске.
16 сентября реформированный состав представил первый, после альбома 2009-го года Course of a Generation, студийный альбом, названный просто - Narnia.
