Godsmack is an American rock band from Lawrence, Massachusetts, formed in 1995. The band is composed of founder, frontman and songwriter Sully Erna, guitarist Tony Rombola, bassist Robbie Merrill, and drummer Shannon Larkin. Since its formation, Godsmack has released seven studio albums, one EP (The Other Side), four DVDs, one compilation album (Good Times, Bad Times... Ten Years of Godsmack), and one live album (Live and Inspired).
The band has had three consecutive number-one albums (Faceless, IV, and The Oracle) on the Billboard 200. The band also has 23 top ten rock radio hits, including 17 songs in the top five. The band's seventh album, When Legends Rise was released on April 27, 2018. Since its inception, Godsmack has toured on Ozzfest on more than one occasion, and has toured with many other large tours and festivals, including supporting its albums with its own arena tours. Godsmack has sold over 20 million records in just over a decade. In honor of the band's success and the release of their sixth studio album, 1000hp, Mayor Marty Walsh declared August 6 as "Godsmack Day" in the city of Boston.

Band When Legends Rise is the seventh studio album by Godsmack. It was released on April 27, 2018. It marks the band's first album away from heavy metal into a more hard rock sound. The album's first single, "Bulletproof", was released ahead of the album in February 2018.

IV is the fourth studio album by the band Godsmack, released on April 25, 2006. This is Godsmack's only studio album produced by Andy Johns.

The Other Side is an acoustic EP by the band Godsmack, released on March 16, 2004. It includes several previously released songs re-recorded as acoustic versions, as well as three new acoustic tracks. One new song, "Touché", featured Godsmack's first guitar player, Lee Richards, as well as John Kosco, who were at that time in the now defunct band Dropbox, The other two new acoustic tracks were "Running Blind" and "Voices" which are old songs that Sully Erna wrote but never recorded. The song "Asleep" is actually an acoustic, shorter and calmer version of "Awake" from the band's second album Awake.

Awake is the second studio album by heavy metal band Godsmack, released on October 31, 2000. It features the song "Goin' Down", which first appeared on the band's first studio recording All Wound Up. This was the only Godsmack album to feature drummer Tommy Stewart. During the 2000s, the songs "Sick of Life" and "Awake" were used for the United States Navy's "Accelerate Your Life" recruiting advertisements

Godsmack is the debut album by the band Godsmack. The album was initially paid for by the band and released as All Wound Up, before the band was signed to Universal Records and Republic Records. It was mastered at Sterling Sound in New York City. It differs from All Wound Up by splitting the song Get Up, Get Out! into two tracks (the intro portion being re-titled Someone in London, while the song Goin' Down was removed. Goin' Down later appeared on the band's second major album Awake, along with another song left off the self-titled album Bad Magick (originally titled Bad Magik).

All Wound Up is the demo album by alternative metal band Godsmack. It was released independently by EK Records on July 28, 1997. It was eventually edited, remastered and re-released as the band's first studio album, Godsmack, with the song "Goin' Down" removed and the introduction to "Get Up, Get Out!" split into its own track, titled "Someone in London". "Goin' Down" later appeared on the soundtrack to the film Mission: Impossible 2 as well as the band's second studio album Awake.
