Mayhem — норвежская блэк-металическая группа, образованная в 1984 году в Осло. Mayhem сыграли ключевую роль в формировании ранней норвежской блэк-метал-сцены, а самоубийство в 1991 году вокалиста Дэда и убийство в 1993 году основателя группы Евронимуса Варгом Викернесом принесли группе скандальную известность. Дебютный полноформатный альбом De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas (1994) вышел уже после того, как группа прекратила существовать.
