Steelheart — американская глэм-метал-группа, созданная в 1990 году Майклом Матиевичем (уроженец Загреба Мильенко Матиевич, сменивший имя в 6 лет при переезде в США). История

Steelheart is an American glam metal band from Norwalk, Connecticut, that formed in 1989. At the time that their debut was recorded, the band's members consisted of vocalist Miljenko Matijevic, lead guitarist Chris Risola, rhythm guitarist Frank DiCostanzo, bassist James Ward and the now deceased drummer John Fowler. The current lineup contains Miljenko Matijevic, Mike Humbert, Joe Pessia and James Ward.

Released in late 2006, it's largely a taste of music to come, three of the four tracks reappearing on the following album Good 2b Alive released on September 15, 2008. The fourth track, We All Die Young, the song brought to prominence by the movie Rock Star, was first released on the Wait album in 1996. The EP had its own supporting tour. Although the EP is now available for purchase via the Steelheart online store, the tracks are available separately as digital downloads.

Because of both the lack of any original members contributions besides Miljenko Matijevic and the departure from Steelheart's classic sound, some people see this is more of a solo effort for Matijevic, rather than a new Steelheart album. It was released on May 10, 1990 and later re-released with a new cover in 1991. It reached #40 on the Billboard 200. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA in 1991. Note that the Bruce Dickinson who co-produced this album is an American producer, not the lead singer of Iron Maiden of the same name.
