SYNCROMIND PROJECT was formed in Bavaria, Germany in 2009 by Italian guitarist and composer Enzo FERRARA and Polish drummer, producer and sound engineer Vito LIS. The initial idea was born in 2006, when FERRARA's complex ideas did not fit into any other project that he participated; when he met LIS, it became apparent that the two musicians would work together. Both of them have toured Europe: LIS as founder of RELOCATOR and drummer in TSUNAMI and DELTA CYPHEI PROJECT, and FERRARA as founder, singer and guitarist of PROGENIC and CELESTIAL VOYAGE. The production process for their debut ''Syncronized'' lasted about two years, and features only the two members: LIS on drums, keyboards and sound design and FERRARA on guitars and bass. It was self-released in December 2011.
SYNCROMIND PROJECT's inspiration comes from big names of the prog/rock/fusion scene such as Tony MCALPINE, Joe SATRIANI, John PETRUCCI, Simon PHILLIPS, Virgil DONATI and Neil PEART. Their music is solely instrumental and balances between guitar-oriented rock and fusion.
