Unburied started in the year 1994. The first demo tape was (Unburied's 1996, demo #1) and it was brought forth into the international underground tape trading scene. The first line up consisted of Matt Pike, Christian Taylor and Mark Riddick.
In 1998 Unburied had released their second demo cassette tape (Tortured Remains). At this time Christian Taylor had been replaced by a brutal female singer named Rebbecca Hawkins. This second demo tape had gotten much praise in the international underground. Soon the band had played a basement show in front of a bunch of drunks and Acid heads. Then to go on to playing their second live performance with "DECEASED" , "DYING FETUS" and CORPSE VOMIT in the "Kremlin Core"
Death Fest at Jaxx in the year 1998. UNBURIED played a few really sick shows with some very talented acts. Unburied was present on at least a dozen underground pro compilations released throughout the world.
In the year 2000, Hawkins had parted ways with the band. In 2001-2003 Unburied had recorded a couple of Promo cds. At this time Matt Pike would take over the Vocals while sticking with his Guitar duties. Unburied had gotten there first record contract in the mail in 2006. As the band had signed on with "Metalbolic Records" to release a split cd, with "SEEKING OBSCURE". The band then hooked up with guitar player Matt Beahm and Drummer Brian Forman. Unburied had played there first live performance in six years in another Death metal festival in Detroit, Michigan called "DETROIT DEATH FEST". Playing with bands " Nocturnal Fear"and "Cruisfist" with Danny Liker of S.O.D, Nuclear Assult ect.... Unburied then played another gig with Matt Beahm on Guitar. Then shortly there after Matt Pike took over Vocals and Guitar duties for a few more shows. Meanwhile, in 2008, UNBURIED, recorded their first full lenth cd, called UNBURIED- "SLUT DECAPITAOR".
