Vulture Industries — это норвежская группа в жанре прогрессивного металла.
Она была сформирована в 1998 году под названием DEAD ROSE GARDEN. В 2003 году группа сменила название на VULTURE INDUSTRIES.
В 2007 году группа выпустила свой дебютный полноформатный студийный альбом «The Dystopia Journals»..

Founded in 1998 as DEAD ROSE GARDEN, the band eventually changed their name after some lineup changes to VULTURE INDUSTRIES in 2003. Based out of Bergen, Norway, this avant garde metal act amalgamate a black metal base with numerous influences ranging from FAITH NO MORE and DEVIN TOWNSEND to THE SOUTHERN DEATH CULT while incorporating progressive rock elements into their odd tapestry of sound. Possessing an eccentric flair to their music, similarities to acts such as ARCTURUS are noticeable, but VULTURE INDUSTRIES also boast some peculiar qualities that set themselves apart, most notably the unusual croon of the vocalist reminiscent of NICK CAVE at his most outlandish.
After two demo releases, the band's first EP, ''The Benevolent Pawn'' came out in 2005. This was followed by their first full-length, ''The Dystopia Journals'', in 2007 and ''The Malefactor's Bloody Register'' in 2010, which harbored increasing progressive qualities to their sound. In 2013, ''The Tower'' was released by Season Of Mist records, an unusual metal album that takes the band further away from their black metal roots yet retains an uncomfortable atmospheric presence along with their flamboyant style.
Their current lineup consists of Oyvind MADSEN and Eivind HUSE on guitars, Kyrre TEIGEN on bass, Tor Helge GJENGEDAL on drums, and Bjornar NILSEN on vocals and programming. / prog-archives
