Band My Kantele is the title of the compilation album / single / split album by the Finnish band Amorphis released in 1997. Not to be confused with the actual real song "My Kantele" also from Elegy, is not on this compilation, although the title is still used as it contains the acoustic version of "My Kantele" and four previously unreleased songs. The song, "My Kantele", is a traditional Finnish song from the 1840 collection Kanteletar and is also sung by Loituma.

"Into Hiding had a working title, 'Rintamäkeläiset,' as its opening melody reminds one of an old Finnish TV series," recalls Amorphis' lead guitarist Esa Holopainen. "The song itself became very popular and is still a crucial part of our setlist. No wonder, as it’s a great mixture of an old Finnish TV score, Death Metal, Arabic vibes, and Black Sabbath. And you can’t go wrong with a song that includes a bass guitar solo!"
