Troops of Doom (Sepultura Cover) 02:45 Playing Time :46:34  Цитата В начале 2001 года два участника группы Steel Tormentor Андреас Кихле (барабаны) и Франк Аршлер (гитара) решили создать собственную группу. После непродолжительных поисков был приглашен бас-гитарист Себастьян Джехл, который успел короткое время поиграть в Steel Tormentor, а вокальные партии решил исполнять Франк Аршлер. В таком составе в конце 2001 года группа сделала первую демо-запись "...And Death Marches On". Неудовлетворенные качеством записи, в марте 2002 года группа находит более профессиональную студию, чтобы записать свой первый альбом - "Dawn Of Golden Blood", который получил хорошие отзывы в прессе. Из-за растущего количества выступлений группа решила взять второго гитариста Алекса Хинтербергера. В новом составе они отправляются в студию The Iguana, где с 13 по 20 марта 2003 года записывают свой второй альбом в составе: Frank Urschler - вокал, гитара; Alex Hinterberger - гитара; Sebastian Jehle - бас; Andreas Kiechle - ударные. Альбом получил название "Sweet Suicide Solutions" и был выпущен своими силами в том же 2003 году. В марте 2003 года в поддержу альбома группа отправляется в турне по Бельгии, Германии и Швейцарии. Альбом получил хорошие отзывы в прессе, и в январе 2004 года группа заключила контракт с немецким лейблом G.U.C., а в марте выпустила первый мини-альбом "Marching Towards Infinity", содержащий четыре песни. За ним последовал сплит "Withered Sunlight / False Guardians" с немецкими коллегами Witchburner, вышедший в 2005 году. В мае 2005 года уже на новом лейбле Heavy Horses Records выходит третий альбом - "Autumn's Fall". В декабре 2006 года группа записывает новые песни, которые выходят в виде очередного мини-альбома "As All Beauty Starts to Fade..." в 2007 году на G.U.C. В начале 2008 года лидер-гитарист Алекс решил покинуть группу, чтобы примкнуть к новому музыкальному проекту. Отныне группа была вынуждена играть втроем, но несмотря на это она много выступала на разных мероприятиях, например, таких как легендарный "Fuck The Commerce-Festival", отправилась в мини-тур по Германии и Швейцарии с Havok и Epitome Of Frail. В декабре 2008 года группа записала свой второй полноформатный альбом "Genociety". Последней работой на данный момент является четвёртый студийник "Genociety", вышедший на G.U.C. в мае 2009 года.

Bitterness is a German band that is now well known in the German -Swiss scene, and is a very engaged one: a band that really believes in Metal , unmistakable mark of the best underground acts whose passion and flame for music is still genuine and without compromises. In only 3 years they have delivered 3 full length demo-CD's, played many significative concerts with Names like Harmony Dies (see Metal Forces V), Belphegor, Tankard, Necronomicon and Adorned Brood, and taken part in many compilations like Legacy sampler August 2000 - The Reaper Comes I and II . The Reaper Comes has lead them in tour among Switzerland , Germany and Belgium and finally, if you consider the next dates you will find that soon they will play with Purgatory. All this what does it mean? It means that they are very appreciated by the German metalheads that in puncto Death and Thrash and, in general, extreme Metal , dom't admit mediocrity. Bitterness are a mighty band reecently made stronger by the addition of the new guitarist Alex Hinterberger. Started as Bitterness on the ashes of the previous Thrash combo Steel tormentor, drummer Andreas Kiechle and mastermind, vocalist and guitarist Frank Urschler ,found in Sebastian Jehle their ideal bass player. They have recorded demo and played live as a very energetic and massive trio. And now that have a guitarist more, they are literally thundering with their usual great cohesion . Through the album Sweet Suicide Solution , released this year, they show an amazing evolution also in the strictly specific musical field.more...
