/ “nie nas widzę” is the fourth album from Polish pagan black metal group VARMIA - who pay tribute to their Baltic roots
by combining black metal sounds with traditional instruments such as the goat horn and the tagelharpa.
VARMIA was formed in 2016 by vocalist/guitarist/composer Lasota with a mission of fusing black metal with
musical influences that pay tribute to the ancient Baltic tribes of the historical Warmia region of northern Poland.
On vocal duties, Lasota emits harsh growls that shroud the band's music and native Polish lyrics in a visceral
aura, the only breaks from this vocal assault occurring when he sings using the traditional, ancient technique of
“whitevoice” clean singing as utilized during ancient East-Central European rituals, rites of passage and
festivals. Meanwhile, the power of the band's modern influences are enhanced by the rhythm section, while traditional ethnic instrumentation of the Baltic Rites is executed via tagelharpa, goat horn, wood tuba and krivula. The final result
is a compelling mix of dark metallic sounds that channel the spirit of early Enslaved, Satyricon, Primordial and Wolves in the Throne Room and folk elements that drive acts such as Wardruna and Heilung. /bc

В Distorted Sound Magazine альбом получил оценку 9 из 10. Критик Дэн МакХью назвал его «просто потрясающим», отметив сочетание лиризма, инструментальной театральности, сокрушительной жестокости и характерных черт тяжёлого металла.
Мне не нравится вокалист поет как глушеная рыба происходит дессонанс с мощным саундом, иногда правда просыапается но ненадолго,и добил бэк вокал звучит настолько отвратительно получается какое то пьяное застолье поют в разнобой , по сути сами альбом и изгадили очень жаль, я ожидал большего интро на это настраивало
Craig Hartranft (Dangerdog Music Reviews) также поставил альбому 5 из 5. New Noise Magazine присвоил альбому максимальную оценку — 5 из 5 Моë мнение, это энергичный и мелодичный дебют, который успешно сочетает традиции классического рока с современным звучанием.
У вокалиста нет голоса совсем не попадает в ноты, зато есть луженая глотка, упор в основном сделан на инструментал, поэтому композиции затянутые, ну послушать разок можно
