/ Membrance is a Death Metal band born in Venice in 2012 that rides the Swedish old school style of the 90s with Thrash Metal influences and from 2023 also Black Metal. Their lyrics speak of horrorific Venetian and lagoon legends and folklore sung both in English and in the ancient language of the Serenissima Republic, today generally considered only an Italian dialect. /bc
