/ Two decades into their journey as ritualistic black metal conjurers, WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM have emerged from the forest with Primordial Arcana, their most majestic album to date. Primordial Arcana is out August 20 on Relapse Records (North America) & Century Media (Europe).
American Black Metal Overlords WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM return with a new EP, Crypt of Ancestral Knowledge. The EP will be released on September 29th and features four new tracks spanning the scope of WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM's cinematic black metal and dark acoustic folk, as well as two atmospheric industrial tracks that take the band into darker sonic territories.
The EP opens with “Beholden to Clan”, a blazing slab of Symphonic Black Metal. Regarding the EP opener, Guitarist Kody Keyworth comments, “Journeying high atop a sacred mountain, the song recalls the importance of the sacrificed king's cycle of rebirth through ancestral hallucinogenic rights of passage. It’s a wild trip. Hail Othila!” Elsewhere, “Twin Mouthed Spring” follows. This new track features vocals and acoustic guitar performed by founding WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM drummer Cedar Serpent who has recently returned to the live stage after a years long hiatus from live performance. He comments, “This song travels to a deep wellspring of passion and creativity. Themes from Celtic Mythology are pulled apart and remade.” Side B of the EP features a different side of the enigmatic band; “Initiates of the White Hart”, an Atmospheric Industrial interpretation of “Spirit of Lightning”, takes this live-set stalwart into deeper dark psychedelic waters while “Crown of Stone”, a ritual dark ambient piece, connects thematically to “Mountain Magic” the lead track on 2021’s Primordial Arcana. /bc

Канадская группа подтянулась по сравнению с прошлым альбомом «Feast Your Eyes» (2019). Думаю, это благодаря семилетним тренировкам или тому, что двое из трёх участников сменились.
Malombra — это не просто альбом, а настоящее произведение искусства в репертуаре Dance With The Dead. Альбом представляет собой единое целое, полное напряжения, таинственной атмосферы и взрывной энергии. С выходом Malombra дуэт окончательно утвердил себя в качестве лидеров жанра, продемонстрировав, что они не намерены снижать свою интенсивность: их музыка становится всё более громкой, мрачной и пугающей.
А теперь по традиции ждём Crypta... )) Фернанда Лира всегда даст фору Прике Аморальной)) Кто первый сказал что когда Прика запела у неё голос классный?! Только не для меня. Может из-за него мне не сильно и хочется слушать этот альбом. А может приелся девичий экстрим? Crypta подскажет))
С этой " бабкой " МЫ состарились)) Зажигала она когда была молоденькая а теперь keep fit и старые поклонники с удовольствием и признанием встречают её новый альбом с весёлым рокен-н-роллом и лирическими песнями и как всегда безукоризненной игрой на бас гитаре
Вообще то Mark Huff не записал не одного студийного альбома с Quiet Riot. Возможно принимал участие в концертных выступлениях - но это не о чём не говорит что он полноценный участник группы. За ознакомление спасибо.
