/The third studio album by Canadian gothic metal band Lodestar.
"people can expect to hear on this album more hard rock influence while still retaining our Doom/Gothic metal sound. In addition we added synth and orchestral elements. This album is uplifting and empowering not only in the music, but also the vocals and lyrical themes. We wanted to touch on the lighter side of life and hope that people feel a connection to some of the songs. The goal was to live up to the band's name and be that inspiration for others who are struggling. If someone listening to this album finds some kind of connection or feels an emotion we have done our job. Its some of the best work the we have done so far. Some songs have gotten more progressive which takes the listener on a journey with some twists and turns. Songs like "Distance To Your Light" and the 10 min long epic "World Of Change" are great examples of this. For fans of the band's doom/gothic metal sound, there is plenty to be found on this album. "Save Me From Fate" and "In Your Shadow" are songs that contrast some of the lighter hard rock songs, and are sure to satisfy people who love our darker sound. We would like to thank Riccardo Pasini from Studio 73 for his talent and skill in making this a well mixed album. It's our second album we have done with him and we will continue to work with him with future albums. Finally, thank you to all of our fans who constantly comment and like on our social media. Your feedback means the world to us, and we also like to thank everyone who takes a chance to listen to this album, be it your first time hearing us or you are an avid listener. Lodestar - это канадская группа, состоящая из двух человек, играющая в стиле иммерсивный дум/готик-метал. Ее лидером является очаровательная Кейт Глок, чей завораживающий вокал и неземная синтезаторная работа уводят слушателей в путешествие по темным мирам. Не мог пройти мимо проекта датчанина с красивым названием, который когда то слушал и который остался на слуху. Канадцы Von Groove застолбившие вторую половину мая в моём плеере не хотели делиться ни с какой другой мелодик-рок группой. Но Torben Enevoldsen их подвинул. И мы с удовольствием проигрываем его альбом вместо канадского Born To Rock. В любом деле разнообразие улучшает вкусовые рецепторы. В музыке и подавно) Альбом Торбена полон и лирической нежности и роковой брутальности. Качественная запись, слушается легко. Как и положено произведению данного стиля. В песнях с темой Времени - #2. The Longest Time #11. All Of The Time на волне AOR. В песнях - #6. Nathing Else To Do #10. Standing On The Outsade волна Rock. Сам Торбен помимо прекрасного пения ещё и прекрасный гитарист. Соло на гитаре в кавере Дитя Радуги тому подтверждение. Каверы я сравнил с оригиналами и они мне нравятся. Если вдаваться в сравнения, то я бы сравнивал новые альбомы Von Groove and Acacia Avenue соответственно с Дэф Леппард и Джорни )) Как то так. Авторам ещё раз респект за релизы!

Увы не смог выбрать ни одной стоящей композиции, у меня такое ощущение что на всех аорщиков один ритм и один синтезатор на всех с одинаковым звучанием, разное только название группы
