Arð are of Northumbria. With their eagerly awaited sophomore album "Untouched by Fire", the inventors of monastic doom present another stunning milestone on their fast rising trajectory. Both musically and lyrically, mastermind Mark Deeks has climbed to new heights. Arð continue on their mission to explore the culture, heritage, and identity of the Northern English lands of Northumbria. The debut album "Take Up My Bones", followed the legend and century-long wanderings of the relics of Lindisfarne saint, Cuthbert (634–687). The tale narrated on the new full-length shines a light on a very different kind of saint. It revolves around the warrior king Oswald (604–642), who forged Northumbria with fire and sword by uniting the kingdoms of Bernicia and Deira. Oswald was widely regarded as the most powerful Anglo-Saxon king by his contemporaries. On "Untouched by Fire", Arð trace his rise to power from his exile as a youth in Dal Riada due to a family feud, via his victorious battles to conquer the lands that his father Æthelfrith had claimed until his founding of Northumbria. Musically, Arð stay broadly true to their original doom course. Мы тоже благодарим за своевременный ремонт Уважение и Сергею! Нам очень понравилась песня Wanna Be A Star, то как выглядит Себастьян в видео (не когда обоссаным алкашом а респектабельным) напоминает Грэма Боннета)) и ещё Олега Гаркушу)) Добротная епишка хотя и простоватая
Не мог пройти мимо проекта датчанина с красивым названием, который когда то слушал и который остался на слуху. Канадцы Von Groove застолбившие вторую половину мая в моём плеере не хотели делиться ни с какой другой мелодик-рок группой. Но Torben Enevoldsen их подвинул. И мы с удовольствием проигрываем его альбом вместо канадского Born To Rock. В любом деле разнообразие улучшает вкусовые рецепторы. В музыке и подавно) Альбом Торбена полон и лирической нежности и роковой брутальности. Качественная запись, слушается легко. Как и положено произведению данного стиля. В песнях с темой Времени - #2. The Longest Time #11. All Of The Time на волне AOR. В песнях - #6. Nathing Else To Do #10. Standing On The Outsade волна Rock. Сам Торбен помимо прекрасного пения ещё и прекрасный гитарист. Соло на гитаре в кавере Дитя Радуги тому подтверждение. Каверы я сравнил с оригиналами и они мне нравятся. Если вдаваться в сравнения, то я бы сравнивал новые альбомы Von Groove and Acacia Avenue соответственно с Дэф Леппард и Джорни )) Как то так. Авторам ещё раз респект за релизы!

Увы не смог выбрать ни одной стоящей композиции, у меня такое ощущение что на всех аорщиков один ритм и один синтезатор на всех с одинаковым звучанием, разное только название группы
