A FEAR CALLED TREASON was formed in April 2004 and shortly after the
first songs were written the band began to play shows all over Germany
and even Poland, spreading their name in a short time and receiving good
reputation for their intense and energetic live shows.After
having played over 30 shows with bands like Himsa, 3 Inches Of Blood,
Fear My Thoughts, Walls Of Jericho, Neaera and many others, A FEAR
CALLED TREASON began to write songs for a 5-track MCD in late 2005. The
songs were recorded in the famous Kohlekeller Studios in March/April
2006 and shows the bands musical passion for melodic but yet brutal
metal.
The main influences could be named with bands like At The Gates, The
Black Dahlia Murder or Arsis, but their musical aim to create an
independent and unique sound comes along with various bands and genres
to be influenced by.
