5 new and unreleased songs, composed right after their masterpiece 'Lucifer Rising' and recorded just before they broke up in '06. First edition will be a special digipack, limited to 666 copies
After being already one year dead and rotting the fine Greek underground label comes up with the very Last offical life line that Stockholm based KAAMOS left for their afterworld. No serious REAL Death Metal worshipper and CHAOS reader should be introduced to KAAMOS anymore cause this band is simply a MUST. For me KAAMOS was one of those bands who brought with their demos, style and attidude a sort of early 90ies Underground feeling back to the Swedish scene and with looking carefully a lot of newer bands followed that path. Expect 5 NEW predictions of darkness, heresy and death. The only thing to complain about is that they haven't recorded at BERNO's Studio like they did with Lucifer's Rising", so expect the sound to be more underground. Titlewise I think that with "Darkness Awaits" they have done one of the best KAAMOS tracks ever, this song has a evil vibe of classics like MORBID ANGEL's "Chapel of ghouls" Awesome!!! The final track "Spiritual Funeral" is a massive doom march into the final grave with KAAMOS. I don't like to quote the other tracks, cause simply as that this band is a must for all those who love dark dedicated real evil Death Metal in the ancient way, so why fuck up with words. The layout of this digipack MCD has great sort of middle age type of occult feeling; the same goes for the lyrics. There are some mistakes in the first print of the version, who got fucked by the pressing factory, so the artwork has a red instead of a sepia touch, but NUCLEAR WINTER takes care about a new version and I'm pretty sure that there's a MLP also coming up.
To a final conclusion it's untirely sad that this band disappeared too early from the scene, cause there are legions of others who should have gone instead!!! Rot in Piece Sickos!!! Points? It's a MUST!""
