/ A bastard child born of the mid 90s punk/metal/hardcore movement, Washington, DC’s DARKEST HOUR combine the passion, energy, and soul of punk/hardcore with the style, speed, vengeance and fury of melodic speed/thrash/death metal. DARKEST HOUR have helped defined the entire New Wave of American Metal sound as one of the pioneers of modern metal/core.
Darkest Hour tune into the cycle of death and rebirth, absorbing their intensity and spitting it back at the world in the form of a signature hybrid anchored by death metal exorcisms, thrash recklessness, hardcore punk attitude, and melodic catharsis at the speed of a circle pit. The Washington, D.C. quintet—Mike Schleibaum [guitar], John Henry [vocals], Aaron Deal [bass], Travis Orbin [drums], and Nico Santora [guitar]—have weathered time, trends, and tides of change and stand stronger nearly three decades since their formation.
This indomitable spirit powers their tenth full-length offering and MNRK Heavy debut, Perpetual | Terminal.
“The record’s theme centers around the duality of ‘"survival while embracing rebirth,’” notes Mike. “We keep killing parts of ourselves to make new parts and survive. The story of the record is the story of the band. We’re still here, and we’re giving the world a body of work that’s representative of our music today. We’ve realized relationships, tours, good times, everything that seems to give life meaning, is terminal—and will inevitably end. Очумело! Чего Intro стоит?! Вся тема всего альбома в ажуре... биты, короткие солирующие гитары, бас м-м-м, вокал панка пацана, какого нах пацана?! С 1982 группа, можно сказать (UK82) Середина релиза - Drag Me To The Gutter - Medusa's Kiss.... всё в полном порядке, мужики в деле, от души то, с чего должно начинаться воскресное утро )) Автору И клюнули мы ведь не на thrash and heavy metal а на приставку punk ))
Этот альбом заслуживает внимания как замечательное произведение, которое предлагает новый и оригинальный взгляд на симфонический металл.Спасибо за релиз.
Лирика альбома погружает в мир древних легенд и мрачных преданий. Tales of Ruin — уверенный дебют Flesh Remains в симфоническом дэт-метале.Спасибо за релиз.
Доброго утречка коллеги Храмы, которые на Марсе впечатляют. Послушав анонс ещё позавчера я не ошибся в этих англосаксах )) Зацепился за них, так как навеяли те времена когда альтернатива была в почёте. Но если бы чисто альтернатива, то вряд ли бы сегодня стал бы их слушать, а так с прогом и металлом у них получилось весьма слушабельно, вчера спать ложился с Последним Кораблём сегодня с ним и проснулся Вставайте коллеги вместе с Марсианскими Храмами альбом что надо. Но кирпич ещё тот А так автору благодарочка
