/ Almost seven years since the release of their debut album, guitarists Mihir Gaikwad and Rishabh Ravi return with Darkrypt’s sophomore album titled ‘As Fate Draws Near’.
With the legendary Dan Swanö (Edge of Sanity, Nightingale, Bloodbath, etc.) on mixing & mastering duties, the intent is, once again, to create something original, authentic and unadulterated.
Musically, the band expands upon the sound of ‘Delirious Excursion’, their debut album, with much stronger black metal influences. The inspiration from death metal bands like Sulphur Aeon, Immolation, Malevolent Creation, & Blood Incantation, as well as from black/blackened death metal bands like Carach Angren, Krypts, Akhlys, Nihilism, Anarkhon, & Cosmic Putrefaction is quite evident.
Lyrically, the album deals heavily with themes of fate, destiny and free will, while drawing some sci-fi/horror influences ranging from BioShock to Blade Runner to George Orwell’s 1984. Consequently, the band conceived each song in this album to be a part of something whole, coherent and cohesive.
Finally, the esteemed Turkka G. Rantanen (Demilich, Adramelech, Demigod, etc..) has once again created Darkrypt’s album artwork./bc

По моему мнению это лучшая группа у чехов достаточно возрастная, которая играет в стиле мелодичный хеви пауэр металл, и превосходит по инструменталу музыкальному разнообразию многих корифеев данного стиля, чувствуется влияние Freedom Call на группу, но она все же самобытная, хотелось бы отметить вокал английский безупречен,а самое главное бек вокал и хоры все четко подобраны по тональности, никто не мешает и не выпячивает хорошо поработали над звуком да что я тут пишу надо просто послушать альбом Все ссылки альбомов группы обновил
