Hailing from the East Coast of Australia, this one man band creates a mix of instrumental atmospheric post black metal, inspired by the natural landscapes that surround Calea Dreaming’s home region.
Fronted by a man known only as Calea, his unique use of orchestral strings, incorporated with harsher heavy black metal passages creates a distinctive atmosphere and dreamy soundscape.
Calea’s love of creating music was evident, as a passion for guitar grew with him from his early teenage years. The Calea Dreaming project began in 2016, and after a lot of hard work and consistency with everything from production to distribution, proved that 2018 would be a busy year. 2018 saw the release of his first single ‘The Morning Sun’ in April, followed by the release of his debut album ‘The Rainforest Canopy’ in December 2018.
